I have a change of taking a junior role specialised in Magento. Can you give some reason to take/not take it?

I have a full-stack JS developer with 2 years of experience. I am not familiar with online shopping platform. Is it a enjoyable platform to develop in? How about salary compared to JS roles or other type of software engineer roles? Any information about Magento is well appreciaged.
