Hi.

I’m relatively new to Magento after using Presta for many years.

I have a store up and running and orders coming in, but on the first order I realized there seems to be a problem with order processing.

The only options I seem able to select at the bottom of a new order, in the drop down box, are Processing and Suspected Fraud.

I have searched online for explanations or solutions to this but can’t find anything that seems relevant. Does anyone know what I need to do or change in the set up of the store?

I understand I can have different websites under one Magento installation, taht is, different urls, different catalogues. Is this correct ? One database ? Meaning I can have totaly different url’s, different branding, different products, different custumers/orders. Maybe all this under one common database ?

I want to make more reach of my products to the customers. I think marketplace products listing is the best way to do this. Can anyone tell me how to do this with my magento?
I am curious about Amazon, Ebay, Walmart, Reverb, Catch and many more for cross border as well.

I’d like to host a couple of Magento Community stores on my own machine. Any pros/cons on doing this ?

Our developer is asking us to install the Amasty Elasticsearch extension rather than use the default Elasticsearch extension that comes with the latest versions of Magento.

Is there a reason why going for this extension is better? Any insights would be mega helpful.

Hi everyone! I am working on my new store and wondering how many products should I start with on Magento? Would it be better to launch a store with a small number of items and then grow it gradually, or should I make the full list of categories and products with all the items before launching the store? Highly appreciate any insight or advice, thank you!

Is it possible to Create an Order using an admin authorization token? I’m using version 2.4.2. When I attempt to post (or put) to the endpoint Magento returns request does not match any route.

Hello,

I have a web store made in Magento 2 and my client would like to have a search form on a front page. Are there any good extensions/modules for that?

Here’s an example of the form: https://www.gume-direkt.com/ (on this website a user can choose the dimensions of a car tire to view the products of chosen dimensions). I would like to have a similar thing on my web store – client’s website sells rollers for industrial machines which have similar characteristics as car tires (type, size, etc.)

and why doesn’t someone create a Magento 2 install without all the bloat? I’m trying to remove all the crap that’s been added to Magento 2.4. I’m just wondering what does Magento require from Klarna?

I have various form in my website and I want to send an email every time a customer fills that form but I can’t find anything relatable. My website regularly sends email on the occasion of creating account, reset password and when someone orders something but how do I send when someone fills forms.

Anyone have any tips (to the pitfalls) or links to any useful config. guides for getting these two to play nicely together?

It seems that it should be possible based on what i have read, but i thought that i would ask you guys for any bits of wisdom before i jump into this.

Is there anyone here that current sends a Magento 2 product feed to Facebook shop?

I’m curious if the commission fee is 5% still, and if the transaction must happen in that session? I’d hate for someone to visit the site a few weeks later, buy something unrelated and pay a commission back to Facebook.

How do commissions even get paid back? I find very little information online and am doing whatever research possible before attempting to reach out to Facebook.

I’m using Magento 2.3.6-p1 and I understand that when an order is placed, only salable quantity goes down and actual quantity is deducted when a shipment is created.

That would be fine if salable quantity = 0 meant product goes ‘out of stock’ on the front-end… But that doesn’t happen. Product still appears as ‘in stock’ until it is shipped.

Is there any fix for this bug?
