I have been wracking my brain around this this weekend.
I have 1 of 2 objectives. Either get https://github.com/christophermallory/magento2-freeshipping-progress-bar to load into the minicart as well as the cart summary or get https://kiwicommerce.co.uk/how-to-add-free-shipping-bar-in-top-mini-cart/ to work. The 2nd doesn’t show anything at all after following the tutorial to the letter, but I believe the tutorial itself is broken. I would prefer to get the 1st into the minicart, but I am having a hard time figuring out how. Have looked through several forum posts and tutorials.
I was able to get https://www.mexbs.com/magento-blog/adding-a-new-field-to-the-minicart-in-magento-2-tutorial/ to work but not sure how to adapt it to the free shipping progress bar.
Any advice or hints are greatly appreciated.
