Just a quick question hopefully. We have just upgraded a production site from 2.4.2 to 2.4.5. Anyway, we are having issues with Opayo, using the ebizmarts extensions. We have it on server mode which should open Opayo in a new iframe/slidey-in-window but customers, and the client are reporting that it shows an inline form in the actual page instead, and then often gives Gateway errors. It seemed to be related to browser permissions about opening new windows.
Opayo advised ” This issue happens when using Modal and having Normal profile enabled, I recommend switching to Low profile or If you want to continue using Normal profile, you should set the Payment pages layout to Redirect to Opayo ” – and that seemed to work but then we realised that brand new customers who have never visited the site before seem to be having the same issue again and can’t proceed (Gateway Error).
Apparently if someone is dogged about it and goes back and starts again, the same error doesn’t happen and they can go straight through with no issues – almost like it needs a refresh on the page which fixes it.
I have not been able to reproduce this, whether clearing cookies, going incognito or downloading brand new browsers (Brave) but a colleague has.
We have disabled Opayo for now and are only using Paypal but would love to get this sorted before the weekend. Has anyone come across this before? Thanks!
