Local environment for someone that only uses the admin CRM page?

Hi, I’ve been looking for a way to set up a local environment so that I can edit my pages using the admin CRM page of Magento. However, all the resources I found were for developers who make plugins/edit the files. I want a way so that when, for example, I change a colour of a button using the CRM page editor of Magento, I can push that change into production. The only resource I found that helps with this involves importing the entire database over to the production, but this would overwrite any customer data that may have occurred prior to the import.
