Graduated from a Bootcamp (the usual react andy stuff) 5 weeks ago and put in a Magento 2 project as a frontend developer.
Currently, i don’t have too many tasks to do and I’m learning php, oop and mysql development whenever i don’t have any tickets left to do.
I’m wondering if learning backend development is a smart move or if you would advise me to focus on something else?
My intention is to be useful as fast as possible, however I’m unsure if i should focus on frontend or something else? Magento frontend development seems very outdated (extensive use of knockout.js and XML files), unusual and overly complex .
What would you do in my situation to make the most of this time?
