Hi, we are migrating to magento 2. We have been using the porpular Ultimo theme for 5 years and it has been excellent. I was going to install Ultimo on our new Magent 2 site as well, but then found out that the theme has had no updates in 1 – 2 years and the developer has not been responding to any quesitions. So it seams Ultimo is a “no go” for Magento 2.
The next best thing is “Porto” it seems.
Does anybody have any experience with that one? Does cover all the functionalities that ultimo used to provide? Any downsides to it?

I have a little side project that runs ubuntu 18.04 with LiteSpeed, Redis, Magento 2 and Percona. I am a complete tool bag and am getting tripped up on simple problems. It was recommended to me I install a control panel to make managing everything easier. What are your recommendations?

Magento 2 came up with new features and functionalities to ensure enhanced security, easy buying process, and to offer a much better customer experience. As the support for Magento 1 will end soon, every Magento developer and Magento merchant must get ready to upgrade their systems to Magento 2.
Continuing to use Magento 1 after this June can result in these:
Your business may suffer from frequent online attacks, threats, and security breaches. Your online store may lack in the new technologies and features that Magento 2 comes with. This can make your business lose customers as well. Withdrawal of some of the extensions that were there in Magento 1 may lead to improper functioning of some of your store features.

I am an experienced developer with an idea how to (slightly) improve the revenue of a store.
Currently trying to decide for which platform to develop my extension first. Does anyone here have experience with selling Magento extensions? Shopify has it’s marketplace, and woo has envato & others..
Should I consider Magento?

If I disable and remove a manually installed extension and reinstall it with composer will all the data still be there or will it be like a fresh install of the extension?

Hi,
Sorry this is my second post today but Magento seems to keep pushing out small business that want to stick to their $25 or less hosting accounts 🙁 so are there any community easy to install modules to just keep the mysql search that was there before? There was no problems with it for smaller stores from my experience.

Hi,
I have a whm / cpanel server with around 20 Magento clients and at least 5 of them will move to Magento 2.4. What is the best way to install Elasticsearch and then divide it so multiple clients can use it? I do not have the option of making a separate isolated container for each client, so it must be a shared type solution.
